In 1898, France was steeped in the enthusiasm and extravagance of the Roaring Twenties, and it was during this period that Maison Le Tanneur took its first steps. It all began in Belley, in the Ain region, our neighboring department. The ambiance and atmosphere of this area provided endless inspiration for our founding fathers, who immersed themselves in the French art of living. This way of life became the cornerstone of their early creations, which quickly met with great success. Boutiques sprouted across France, and technical innovations built the strong reputation of the Maison.
