Maison Le Tanneur thrived in this vibrant atmosphere, laying the groundwork for our future and clarifying our primary ambition: to embody French elegance and share a passion for fine materials and well-crafted leather goods.

3 - Leather: A Passion
With each passing year, Le Tanneur’s expertise grows richer with new ideas and experiences. Take, for example, our Sans-Couture coin purse, created in 1900 and now an emblem of our Maison. This small leather purse won a silver medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition that same year and is still crafted in our workshops today.

The Sans-Couture design has since inspired various other formats: satchels, clutches, handbags, and cardholders. These pieces, along with many others, are available at our Lyon boutique and in all our stores across France.
